Welcome - we're glad you are visiting our site today. We keep things simple here, like the Gospel. We want to worship the Lord, learn the Word of God, and apply what we have learned to our daily lives. Our vision is to know God and make Him known. Please consider this an invitation to come travel with us as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Come along and explore what He has for you. |

See below for online opportunities to Study Scripture and join Parkside Church on Sundays for Worship
Welcome to our midweek time in the Word of God
Every Sunday is a celebration of the Resurrection of Christ

While we are unable to worship in one another's company we encourage you to join us in viewing the morning worship service of Parkside Church, including the sermon by Pastor Alistair Begg. Their streamed service begins at 8:45am CT / 6:45am PT. Fortunately for us, that worship service will be available for later viewing. Simply press the Link Button below and you will be taken to Truth for Life Live Stream. The service should also be found YouTube and Facebook (links are provided). We are blessed to have these resources available to us, let's take them in hand and thank our Savior. And don't forget to prepare your heart, you are not simply watching a video, you are worshipping the Lord God of Creation, your Savior and returning KIng of kings. And remember to pray for others.

Dear Church Family and visitors to this site,
We have been keeping a close eye on the developments and spread of the COVID-19 virus. Its movement has been swift and unrelenting. Without giving into fear we want to do our part to help limit the exposure of others to this virus. We want to be considerate of those around us who may not be able to protect themselves. This we believe is the responsible thing to do for our community. With prayer and counsel, it has been decided to follow recommendations and cancel Sunday Worship together for the time being in consideration of public health. We believe that being proactive instead of reactive is the wise thing to do. In the meantime, we encourage you to pray for those suffering from this virus as well as those who are impacted – healthcare workers, doctors, nurses, researchers and public employees who have no choice but to run towards the danger. Pray for them. Pray also for those who may feel more isolated than ever.
In the meantime, we want to encourage you to visit this site every Sunday. At eight o'clock a new sermon will be posted and available for all of us to view, and to talk over during the coming week.
Also, if you have prayer requests and items of praise and thanksgiving, please email them to CFCGoldRiver@gmail.com or use the form below. If appropriate, your request might be shared with others unless you specify it is not to be shared with others. We will honour your confidentiality.
In addition, there will also be a musical offering to bless and assist us in making even this unique time of worship Christ-centered.
And finally, quoting Village Mission's Assistant Director: "As followers of Christ, we have real hope, a hope that transcends this life". 1 Peter 3:15 applies in times like this. “…you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” (NLT) As you talk with friends and neighbors, be ready to share how Christ gives you hope for each day, and for the life to come." - Pastor Rob
